Chief Election Commissioner will show stars to PTI during a day

Prime Minister Imran Khan, instead of following the advice of his political colleagues, accepted the suggestion of bureaucracy and appointed them. Sikandar Sultan is part of the loyal group of Raja N League, the government was warned.

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has been warned that Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja is part of the PML-N loyalist group. According to details, analyst Adnan Adil has said that the Chief Election Commissioner will show the stars to the ruling party PTI during the day, which can be seen in the NA-75 Daska election. In a tweet released on social networking site Twitter, he said that Prime Minister Imran Khan, instead of following the advice of his political colleagues, accepted the suggestion of bureaucracy and appointed Sikandar Sultan Raja as the Chief Election Commissioner.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to challenge the ECP’s decision regarding re-election in NA-75 Daska in the Lahore High Court. According to details, the PTI will file two petitions in this regard in the Lahore High Court. The decision of the Election Commission will be challenged while the second petition will be filed against the decision against the administrative officers.

It has been reported that Special Assistant for Information Punjab Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan called on Prime Minister Imran Khan who was on a visit to Lahore. During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed about the by-elections in Daska and the legal team briefed the Prime Minister on the future course of action, after which it was decided by Prime Minister Imran Khan to challenge the ECP decision in the Kohalhor High Court. ۔

It may be recalled that the Election Commission had ruled on the by-election in NA-75 Daska. The Chief Election Commissioner in his decision said that the by-election in NA-75 Daska was not clean and transparent. Approving PML-N’s request for elections, I ordered re-election on NA-75 Daska, after which the constituency will go to polls on March 18.

Chief Election Commissioner Naskandar Sultan Raja in his decision said that the by-elections in NA-75 were marred by bad atmosphere, firing and killings at polling stations, due to which clean and transparent elections were not held in the constituency. Therefore, re-election will be held on March 18 in NA-75 Daska.
