LAHORE: The provincial capital Lahore has decided to register cases against those who do not wear masks as the number of corona cases has increased rapidly.
According to details, the meeting was held at Capital City Police (CCPO) Office Lahore. The meeting was chaired by Lahore Police Chief Ghulam Mahmood Dogar. Commissioner Lahore Captain (retd) Muhammad Usman, DC Lahore Mudassar Riaz Malik Operations Lahore Sajid Kayani, DIG Investigation Sharq Jamal, DIG Hassan Raza Khan participated. The meeting discussed proposals regarding the implementation of Corona SOPs.
Ghulam Mehmood Dogar said that government guidelines should be implemented, it has been decided to register cases against those who do not wear masks, strict action has also been ordered against those who do not follow government guidelines.
Commissioner Lahore ordered strict implementation of the order to wear masks. According to Lahore Commissioner Muhammad Usman, those who do not wear masks will be detained. Those who do not wear masks can be jailed for six months.
CCPO Lahore said that Corona SOPs should be strictly enforced in marriage halls and public places. Public transport is required to accommodate 50% of passengers, and action has been ordered against excess. Public transport without masks will be closed.
