Failed to attempt to smuggle more than 9 million drugs in Saudi

Riyadh: Attempts to smuggle more than 9 million narcotics into Saudi Arabia were foiled, security forces seized large quantities of drugs and arrested six people.

Muhammad al-Najadi, a spokesman for Saudi Arabia’s anti-narcotics agency, said a large consignment of narcotics had been seized. The number of bullets hidden in the wooden planks is 9.54 million.

Six members of the smuggling ring have been arrested, including four Saudis and two Syrians. The arrested persons have been handed over to the concerned agency for further investigation.
