Former Test cricketer Wasim Bari Corona hospitalized

Difficulty breathing due to lung infection

Former national team player Wasim Bari has been admitted to a local hospital for medical treatment due to a positive corona test. According to media reports, Wasim Bari, 72, underwent a corona test which turned out to be positive. According to hospital sources, Wasim Bari is having difficulty breathing due to which he is being given oxygen.

Sources said that Wasim Bari has contracted an infection in his lungs. It may be recalled that Wasim Bari played 81 Tests and 51 ODIs for Pakistan between 1967 and 1984. He is also the highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in Test cricket with 228 wickets. Former Test cricketer Wasim Bari is also the director of High-Performance Center Karachi.
