Gladiators fail to give United a big target

In the twelfth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 6, Quetta Gladiators gave a target of 157 runs to Islamabad United.

In the match being played at the National Stadium Karachi, Islamabad captain Shadab Khan decided to field first to win the toss. While batting, the Gladiators looked under pressure from the start. For Quetta, opener Saim Ayub scored 5, Cameron Delport 1, Faf Dupleix 17, Azam Khan 4, and Ben Cutting 23 runs.

Sarfraz Ahmed put up a great resistance from the Gladiators and was dismissed by Faheem Ashraf for 54 runs. Faheem Ashraf 3, Hassan Ali 2, and Shadab Khan took one wicket each for Islamabad United.

Islamabad United squad: Shadab Khan, Alex Hales, Rohail Nazir, Hassan Talat, Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Paul Sterling, Fahim Ashraf, Muhammad Wasim Jr., Hassan Ali, and Musa Khan.

Quetta Gladiators Squad: Captain Sarfraz Ahmed, Faf Duplessis, Cameron Delport, Mohammad Azam, Saim Ayub, Ben Cutting, Mohammad Nawaz, Zahid Mahmood, Dale Steyn, Mohammad Hasnain, and Naseem Shah.
