Imran Khan used the institutions to get a vote of confidence, Maryam Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that Imran Khan used institutions to get a vote of confidence which has no moral, constitutional and legal status.
A consultative meeting of PML-N was held in which party leaders participated. Talking to the media after the meeting with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Maryam Nawaz said that today’s meeting discussed the PDM’s long march and discussed the political situation in the country.
He said that Nawaz Sharif from London was presiding over the meeting and there was also talk about the candidate for the vacant seat in Karachi.
Maryam Nawaz said that the party was angry over the storm of insults with the PML-N leaders yesterday. Everyone agrees that the way in which the vote of confidence was taken yesterday was bullied and forced. There is no legal status or moral status.
Maryam Nawaz said that the banners she had raised yesterday with naked insults to the Election Commission were shameful, violence against our party leaders is not forgivable in any way, the speeches they give to PML-N Keep it with you, yesterday the PML-N leadership was insulted, you will slap us twice, we will slap you ten times, the price of attacking our senior leadership will be paid.
He said that by using the institutions, the Prime Minister got the vote of confidence, the vote of confidence of the Prime Minister has no moral, constitutional and legal status, the vote of confidence was taken by force, supervised the government members before the Parliament session. Yes, the government used drone cameras to capture footage of its members, the first time a party leader has been mistrusted.
Maryam Nawaz said that Muftah Ismail will be our candidate in NA-249, we have our own position on the issue of Chairman Senate which will be stated in PDM tomorrow.
