Karima Baloch: Human rights activist’s body handed over to the family, burial will be in his native area in Balochistan

The body of Karima Baloch, a Baloch political leader who went into self-imposed exile in Canada, has arrived in Pakistan and will be buried in her hometown of Tempe in Kich District, Balochistan.

Karima died in Canada last December, and Toronto police have ruled out a felony.

However, family members refused to acknowledge this and called for an investigation.

Her sister, Mah Ganj Baloch, said Karima’s body arrived in Pakistan on Sunday night but was handed over to her family after a four-hour delay, after which she has now left for Turbat.
