LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif has approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) for bail. A two-judge bench headed by Justice Sarfraz Dogar will hear the case on March 29.
Khawaja Asif’s bail application was filed in the Lahore High Court through Barrister Haider Rasool Mirza. The petition states that the NAB arrested him on December 29 from Islamabad in excess of assets and money laundering.
The petition said that the record of the case has already been provided to the NAB. The NAB has not produced any record of the complainant of the inquiry in the accountability court.
In the application. It further said that the accountability court judge also observed that the NAB had all the relevant records, the Election Commission and the FBR had all the details of the assets.
