In the seventh match of Pakistan Super League 6 played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Multan Sultans defeated Lahore Qalandars by 7 wickets. Multan team achieved Lahore’s target of 158 runs in 16.2 overs.
In pursuit of Lahore Qalandars’ 158 runs, Multan’s innings was started by Mohammad Rizwan and Chris Lin.
Captain Multan Sultans Mohammad Rizwan once again played an aggressive and responsible innings and made a partnership of 110 runs with Sohaib Maqsood after which Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed for 76 runs while Sohaib Maqsood remained on the wicket with only 41 balls to spare. An unbeaten 61-run innings helped Multan reach the target of 158 in 16.2 overs.
Earlier, Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan decided to field first after winning the toss. Sohail Khan, Shahnawaz, and Carlos Braithwaite bowled well in the power play, thanks to which Lahore Qalandars lost two wickets and scored only 25 runs.
