New York: Leading American magazine Time Magazine has included two people of Pakistani origin in its list of Time 100 Next 2021, including Salman Toor and Lena Khan.
According to a foreign news agency, Salman Toor, a Pakistani national from Lahore, has been included in the list of artists, but he is based in the United States and has also exhibited his pentagons.
The magazine also added another Pakistani-born woman, Lena Khan, who is currently based in the United States and is the author of several books and a legal expert.
Salman Tor has thanked Time Magazine for including him in the list of Time 100 Next, calling it an honor for him.
It may be recalled that Salman Toor recently surprised everyone by selling one of his paintings for لاکھ 822,000 as it is probably the most expensive sale ever for any Pakistani artist.
In 2015, Salman Toor created a work of art called “Roof Top Party with Ghosts Eye” which became very popular in the world of painting.
The magazine’s list of “innovators” also includes Lena Khan, a Pakistani-born woman who, although born in the UK, has Pakistani ancestry and parents.
