ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Pervez Rashid has challenged the rejection of nomination papers for the Senate elections.
Senior PML-N leader Pervez Rashid’s nomination papers in the Senate were rejected on Punjab House’s dues, and it was said that if he wanted to contest the Senate elections, he would have to pay his dues.
PML-N leader Azam Nazir Tarar has revealed that Pervez Rashid is in default of Rs 96 lakh and his assets are only Rs 23 lakh, and he has started borrowing to contest the Senate elections. That 8 party leaders have arranged Rs 9.6 million for the dues of Pervez Rashid.

Pervez Rashid has stated in the petition that the Returning Officer illegally rejected my nomination papers, tried hard to remove the objections of the Returning Officer but the objections were not removed.
Pervez Rashid has said that he is ready to submit money on the objection of the Election Commission, but the Election Commission rejected the nomination papers against the law, the Election Tribunal Returning Officer’s move to reject the nomination papers was declared null and void.
