LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Registrar’s Office has fixed Rana Sanaullah’s bail plea for hearing. A two-member bench will hear the case on March 31.

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Justice Sarfraz Dogar will hear the case. The case was adjourned indefinitely last week due to the non-availability of the bench. Chairman NAB Javed Iqbal has issued an arrest warrant for Rana Sanaullah.

According to NAB, Rana Sanaullah illegally created assets in excess of his income. In this regard, Rana Sanaullah sought interim bail from the Lahore High Court in the case of assets in excess of his income.

In the petition, Rana Sanaullah had taken the position that the NAB was being targeted for political revenge. It was illegal for the NAB chairman to issue an arrest warrant.
