Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah while describing the situation of Coronavirus said that 25 patients have died in the last 24 hours while 324 new cases have been reported and 644 people have recovered. The Sindh Chief Minister said that 9599 samples were tested in the last 24 hours as a result of which 324 new cases have come to light which is 3.4% of the assessment rate.
He said that 25 patients died in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of deaths to 4157 which is 1.6% of the death rate. The Chief Minister Sindh said that so far 2820284 samples have been tested and 251757 cases have been reported.
He said that 644 more patients have been cured in the last 24 hours bringing the total number of cured people to 228592 which is 91% of the recovery rate.
He said that at present 19008 patients are undergoing treatment out of which 18460 are undergoing treatment in homes, 8 in isolation centers and 540 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals. He said that the condition of 497 patients has been declared critical out of which C66 patients are on ventilators. He said that out of 324 new cases, C167 belongs to Karachi, including East District 66, South District 56, Malir 18, West District 14, Central District. 12 and 1 new case has been reported in Korangi.
Hyderabad 31, Mirpur Khas 20, Jamshoro 18, Sujawal 17, Ghotki 10, Matiari 9, Sukkur 8, Badin and Jacobabad 6-6, Nowshero Feroze and Umerkot 4. 4, Shaheed Benazir Abad and Tando Muhammad Khan 2. 2, Khairpur, Larkana, Tando Allahyar and Sanghar 1-1 new case have come to light. The Chief Minister Sindh urged the people of the province to follow the SOPs and stay safe.
