Urgent fee for 10-year passport reduced from Rs 9,000 to Rs 7,500 and normal fee reduced from Rs 5,400 to Rs 4,500, DG Immigration has issued a formal notification to reduce the passport fee.
The government announced a reduction in passport prices. Passport fees have been reduced for the convenience of citizens. According to details, the reduction in passport fee was made in the personal interest of Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid. DG Immigration also issued a notification to reduce the passport fees.
It has been reported that the urgent fee for a 10-year passport has been reduced from Rs 9,000 to Rs 7,500 and the normal fee from Rs 5,400 to Rs 4,500.
The fee for a 72-page urgent passport for 10 years is set at 13,500. Similarly, the 5-year normal passport fee will be reduced to 3,000 and the urgent passport fee to 5,000. DG Immigration has issued a formal notification to reduce the passport fee.
Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, while announcing to halve the passport fee, had said that NADRA would issue one lakh identity cards in a day. While NADRA will issue one lakh identity cards in a day, the passport of a person whose name is in ECL cannot be issued.
