UAE Foreign Minister meets Indian counterpart

UAE Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan called on Indian Foreign Minister Dr. Subramanian J. Shankar in New Delhi on Friday.

According to UAE news agency WAM, the two discussed the historical friendly relations between the two countries. The two sides also discussed ways to further enhance mutual cooperation and partnership in the interest of both countries and their peoples.

The two Foreign Ministers reviewed the links between the two countries in combating the coronavirus and the global efforts to make the corona vaccine available to all countries.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the UAE’s commitment to further improve relations between the UAE and India.

Dr. J. Shankar also hosted a luncheon in honor of his Emirati counterpart and his delegation. The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to New Delhi, Dr. Ahmed Al-Banna, was also present on the occasion.
