UN raises $6.4 billion for civil war-torn Syria

Brussels: The fifth annual conference was held in Brussels to help the people of war-torn Syria, the United Nations has raised $6.4 billion for the war-torn Syrians.

The money was raised on a humanitarian basis to help the Syrian people and refugees. According to the United Nations, the goal was to raise 10 10 billion, but philanthropists donated 4 6.4 billion.

Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the global financial crisis, with $4.2 billion remaining in Syria and the rest to be spent on Syrian refugees.
