Yousuf Raza Gilani seeks PM’s help in voting for Senate Election

ISLAMABAD: Yousuf Raza Gilani, the unanimous candidate of PDM from Islamabad in the Senate elections, sought votes and support from Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to sources, Yousuf Raza Gilani has sent a letter to all members of the National Assembly, including Prime Minister Imran Khan, asking them to vote for him in the Senate elections.

Gilani wrote in his letter that members of the National Assembly should vote for the March 3 Senate election. Decisions made today will determine the future. I have made a conscious decision to run in the Senate elections.

He wrote in his letter that he had been a member of parliament since 1985. The political journey of 4 decades is in front of everyone. As Prime Minister, keep the doors of the Prime Minister’s House open for the opposition.

He further added that solidarity is needed for the Senate elections. To come together for the sanctity of Parliament. Political and ideological differences are the beauty of democracy.

He wrote in the letter that the election was not to satisfy his ego or fight against any government. It is hoped that on March 3, members will make a decision based on his life and character.
